Sunday Seven : 2012 Version

I just love the new year. It's the start of something fresh. New. A clean slate. It's full of possibilities. It makes me excited. I'm ready to focus and kick this year off right.

I've been thinking a lot about what I want for this upcoming year. It's ripe with possibility and I'm so ready to see what it holds for my family and I. I'm ready to resume some things on this blog that I have put on the back burner while I sorted through the holidays. One of them is Sunday Seven. Here we are on January 1st and it's time to focus and prioritize what we'd like for the upcoming year. I'm taking Sunday Seven and tweaking it a bit this week to focus upcoming year rather than just the upcoming week.

If you're new to Finding Home, let me briefly recap what the Sunday Seven is all about. I first heard about this idea from Allison at The Intentional Peace. Each week you set aside some time to think about the top seven areas of your life. Then, you set a goal for each of those areas for you to accomplish for the next seven days. It's simple, focused and totally doable. This week lets dive into those top seven areas and set some goals for this upcoming year. I'm excited! Are you?

My Seven Areas Are:

1. Faith
2. Family and Relationships
3. Mommyhood
4. Work
5. Health and Fitness
6. Organization
7. Me Time

1. Faith
This is probably the most important area of my life but how quickly I can shuffle it to the back burner! It's quiet shameful really. This past year has been a whirlwind as I became a new mom and then had to move in with my in laws. Life has been crazy and things like my spiritual life have really taken a back seat to all of the things facing me day to day. But I hate that. Hate, hate, hate it. I've had to learn to seek the Lord in new ways as my time is not my own anymore. This upcoming year as the dust settles a bit on the craziness, I'm diving back in head first with my devotion and prayer time. Most mornings I try to start my day with my Bible, a devotional and a cup of coffee. I recently finished the devotion I had been reading so I'm in the market for a new one. Our church has a library and it's a great resource for finding awesome new Christian reading material. I'm hoping to scoop up a new devotional there next week. I also want to get more conscience about memorizing scripture. When I was in Master's Commission, we were required to memorize ten Bible verses a week. It can sound a little daunting and even intimidating, but when you practice the act of memorization, your mind really does become quiet sharp at doing so. I am committing to memorizing scripture verses this year. I need to hide His Word in this heart of mine! I'm also committing to really get involved in our church. It's funny, a few years ago, I was on staff at the church and had my hand in so many church projects and programs. I definitely needed a break and these past couple years have really provided me one. I'm feeling rested and ready to invest in my church and the people in it. I'll be praying for ministry opportunities. I'm keeping my ears open and my eyes alert! And one other thing I'm focusing on as far as my faith is concerned. I'm helping one of my best friends put together a girls conference for a bunch of churches in the Northern Ontario area. It's going to be a huge undertaking but it's been a God-dream for both of us for so long. I'm excited that this is going to become a reality. I can't wait to share with you the details as we start putting this project together. It's going to be amazing and I can't wait to be a part of it!

2. Family & Relationships
This year I hope that Shane and I can be more conscience about setting aside time for us as a couple. I'd love to go on a date once or twice a month. Once would be great, twice would be amazing. I think it's so important to maintain that friendship in marriage. He's busy, I'm busy and we need to get intentional about our time together. We're also planning on taking a vacation - just the two of us - soon. We have a date setup in the next couple of weeks. We'll see how that goes but the plan is to leave Aubrey with her grandparents for the weekend. It will be the first time Shane and I have been away since before she was born so I'm really looking forward to the mini-holiday. As far as relationships go, I've become friends with a couple of really amazing gals lately. Since moving to Canada, I had to leave some of my best friends behind. That's been one of the hardest aspects of my move here to another country. I'm thankful for social media that keeps me connected but when it comes to actually hanging out with someone, it's been very hard. Until God answered my prayer this year with the friendships of two amazing gals. I'm excited to spend more time with them as this year goes on. Each girl is at a different space in life - one has two little kids and we get to spend a lot of mommy and crafting time together. It's been so great to have a mommy-friend who is walking through or has been through so many things that I'm facing as a mother. We exchange advice, recipes, vents, tears, toys, laughs and our favorite pins. It's truly been amazing. My other friend is in the process of getting a heartbreaking divorce. It's quiet shocking really as it came as a surprise to us all. Walking through this divorce with her has forced me to look deeper into my own marriage and do my best to strengthen it as much as I can. This precious friendship is one that I love so very much. We are Weight Watcher buddies, walking partners and she is someone I can sit and have a coffee with and talk for hours. Time just flies by when I'm with her. Both girls are an answer to prayer as far as great friends go. I'm hoping that this year we can make a lot of great memories and truly get to know one another better.

3. Mommyhood
I cannot do anything in this life without first remembering that I'm a Mom. It's one of the things that defines me fully and will until the day I die. This area is highly important to me as I am responsible for another precious little life. As my baby takes on another year of her life, I'm so excited to see what she will tackle. I know this upcoming year we will experience her walking. Though she's taken a few steps already, I know that by years end we'll see her running. Oh I can't wait to see it! I know we'll also begin to hear her little mouth make more words. She's already fluent in all things "Dadda" and she references other objects in her world with variations of "Da" and "Ada". I can't wait to hear her little voice develop and say more things. One thing I struggle with is being intentional about my time with Aubrey. It's easy to just let her run rampant with her toys and play, play, play the day away. This year, I'm hoping to get a little more focused with some of that play time and let her experience some new things. I'm planning on setting her up with different Sensory Bins and let her experience different objects, shapes and textures through sensory learning. I'll post more about that at another point, but that's one thing I'm hoping to do with her this year. We also have an amazing Science Center here in town and when she's a little older (towards the end of the year) I'd love to take her there. There are all kinds of animal exhibits and even a butterfly garden. I'd love to see her bee-bopping around there. As far as myself, I'm ready to dig in deeper into a few books I'm reading about motherhood. I love reading about women who've gone before me and are sharing their wisdom and advice. I'll share with you some of the titles in another post. Mommyhood - what an adventure! Oh yeah, and at some point, we'll tackle potty training. I can't wait to be done with diapers!

4. Work
I'm officially able to work in Ontario now! I've applied and received my Social Insurance # which is like a Social Security #. It allows me to be able to make a paycheck in Canada. So, in the next couple of days, I'm going to sign up to be a Scentsy Consultant. I cannot wait!!! I've wanted to do this since July and it's been a long wait! I'm so excited to start my own business. I've been longing for something to call my own for so long. I can't wait to share my Scentsy journey with all of you too! And be on the lookout for a Scentsy giveaway soon!

5. Health and Fitness
Last May, I became a member of Weight Watchers. It truly is a life changing program. I'm loving it. But as the year drew to a close and the weather began to change, I found myself getting bored with the program. Bored with my food choices and bored with my exercise. I was ready for a shake-up. And just when I started to wonder if I should just give myself a break for awhile, WW changed up their program a bit and it brought back the energy I needed to start back on track. It truly is a new dawn, a new life and a new day! I also purchased a month long, unlimited membership at a local gym. I'm excited to take time out each day to work out my body in a new setting full of great machines. It will definitely be different than hoofing it around the block pushing Aubrey in her stroller! Though, I must admit, I am missing my little walking buddy!

6. Organization
This year, we are moving back into our house. We are all at the end of our ropes from living with one another for so long. Shane is at our house now doing some renovations. With that, will come a ton of organization! It makes me GIDDY! I thrive on an organized environment and I'm so anxious to get into my house and make it functional and efficient for our family. We don't have a large home so I'm excited to see how we can maximize our space in fun and creative ways. I can't wait to share all of that with you! This year, I'm also getting our papers in order. Paper piles are my biggest nemeses but it's also my largest organizing faux paus. I've got no sort of paper filing system...well one that works anyway. This year, I'm getting a system in place!! No ifs, ands or buts about it. Time to clear the clutter!

7. Me Time
Last year I took myself off of the priority list and in 2012, I'm putting myself back on it. I started today by doing a few beauty rituals that I don't normal do like using a foot scrub on my feet and taking some extra time to pamper my skin. I used to have a regular beauty routine that included doing a facial mask at least once a week and taking time to paint my nails. I was on the priority list and always felt so good about myself. After becoming a mom, time wasn't my own anymore but I'm vowing to again take that time for me. I'll be intentional about taking relaxing baths, reading a book before bed and making sure my nails are painted. Now that Aubrey is a little older and sleeping through the night, I have my nights to myself. I totally have time to paint my nails and do a few more things for me. It's so important and I'm excited that I'm back on the priority list! Remember, we are all worthy of that time!

So there are a few things that I'm looking forward to this year. How about you? What are you vowing to do this year? Write a post about it and leave the link in the comments! Or just write what you are hoping to do in the comments. Let's all be inspired! I'd love to see what you are hoping to accomplish!

Happy 2012!

The Sunday Seven

It's Sunday it's time to take a few minutes to focus on what our upcoming week looks like. I've been reading the book "Life Management for Busy Women" by Elizabeth George for the second time. There are so many great nuggets of truth and wisdom in regards to managing every area of our lives as women. I was particularly struck by these words she penned:

"It's been said, "If you don't plan your day, someone else will plan it for you." So I ask you,w ho is the best person to plan your day? Who is it that has prayed through your priorities and desires to do God's will? It's you, dear one! Don't let someone else who is clueless about your goals and your God-given desires and priorities plan your day...Don't let someone else have God's day! Instead, plan your day, schedule your day, and protect your day!"

Those words really resonated with me. So it is with that resolve that I'm diving into the Sunday 7 to help focus this upcoming week. It will be a busy week full of lots of demands so it's best to focus it now in these quiet Sunday afternoon moments. Here we go!

Here are the seven area's that I'm focusing on this week:

1. Faith
2. Family
3. Friendships
4. Organization
5. Business Life
6. Christmas
7. Me Time

Faith: For years I have journaled my prayers but recently I just haven't bothered. Maybe it's been the fact that my hands have been busy with my baby but lately I've really missed having a pen in hand while doing my morning devotions. I bought a little notebook yesterday and I'm putting it to good use this week.

Family: This is an exciting week for me as I head to Pennsylvania to be with my friends and family for the Thanksgiving holiday. I just plan to spend as much time as possible soaking up every minute with my loved ones. Mom is hosting 18 people for Thanksgiving. It will be a full house and I'm looking forward too it!

Friendships: Recently God has answered my prayer about finding some great friends here in my Canadian town. I'm hoping to get together with my friend, Christine, before I leave town. We always have a blast and I need a does of good laughs with her before I go away for the weekend.

Organization: It's always such a production when we head out of town. There is packing and planning for two adults, one baby and two dogs. I'm the strategic packer and so this week I'll be focusing on laundry, packing our bags and preparing all of the little things in regards to our trip.

Business Life: Y'all, soon I'll be selling Scentsy...and I can't wait! In the meantime, I'm doing a series of basket parties. So, I'm putting together samples, catalogs and such to send to friends and family. I'm also hoping to host two parties so putting together the details of those events needs done quickly.

Christmas: I had to throw this in because the weeks are ticking by quickly! I need to write down each gift we are purchasing and set aside the cash for those gifts. Many things will be purchased online so I need to make those purchases soon in order to have prompt shipping.

Me Time: This week I'm going to combine my Me Time and my Health and Fitness time. This week I'm going to take a couple of walks, turn up my ipod and just soak in the time outdoors. We have yet to have any sort of snow that's stuck which is unheard of for Northern Ontario. I'm taking full advantage of being outdoors because soon the next time I'll see grass will be sometime in April!

So there's a glimpse into my week! What is yours holding for you? Is anyone Black Friday shopping? What are your holiday plans? I'd love to hear! I hope everyone has a great upcoming week!!

Sunday Seven

It's Sunday 7 time! I first read about this concept on The Intentional Peace and instantly, I was in love. It's such a great way to get on track for the week ahead.

This weeks Sunday 7 has me again focusing on my upcoming week and determining my top priorities in seven key area's of my life. They are:

1. Faith
2. Family
3. Relationships
4. Health and Fitness
5. Mommyhood
6. Organization
7. Me Time

Your top 7 may look a little different than mine and that's a-ok. You determine your 7 priority areas. Feel free to create a Sunday 7 post of your own or write your top seven in the comments. I'd love to see what you are focusing on this week.

Faith: I love my morning routine. Aubrey and I have breakfast and I do my devotions. It's such a great way to focus my day. This week, I commit to taking that time to spend with God and dig into His word.

Family: In my Sunday School class, we are going through a video series called "Love and Respect" by Dr. Emerson Eggerichs. Our challenge this week is to take fifteen minutes out of our busy schedules to spend time with our mate. Sometimes it's like nailing Jello to the floor to try and get my husband to sit still for fifteen minutes so I'm trying to make that time happen this week.

Relationships: I'm way behind in emails to my sisters, a phone call to my mom and a walk with a friend. I'm really missing out on the connection factor. This week, I'm hoping to catch up with everyone I love.

Health and Fitness:  I've been really slacking on the healthy eating front lately. And forget about doing a lot of cardio - I think I have a stress fracture in my foot so it's seriously sidelined me. This week I'm committing to a few things. First, I am putting together some super quick, easy meals that I can prepare in a flash when I'm starving. This will help keep me from going off the deep end and filling up on junk. Second, I'm heading to the clinic to get a referral for a bone scan. I need to know if this foot pain truly is a stress fracture and if so, what the best course of action will be to heal it.

Mommyhood:  Aubrey hit a giant growth spurt recently and has grown out of nearly all of the winter clothes I bought her. I bought her a bunch of new things today but her wardrobe is still lacking. This week, I'm on the hunt for some great mix and match outfits.

Organization: I've been talking about it but keep putting it off. So I'm doing it this week. It's time to figure out Christmas gifts! I need to be organized in this area. I really don't want to deal with the Christmas shopping madness so I want to be focused on what gifts I'm purchasing. Also to avoid those impulse buys that can really break the budget!

Me Time: Now that Aubrey is sleeping in her own room - and through the night - I can finally start reading before I go to sleep. It's one of my favorite things to do! This week, I'm taking advantage of that free time and I'm going to read, read, read!

So that's a little of what my week looks like! What are you up too?

The Sunday Seven

It's Sunday and you know that that means! It's time to focus on setting some priorities for the upcoming week. We've been calling it "Sunday 7". Allison from "The Intentional Peace" first created this concept and I've joined along with her. It's one of the best tools that I've found to really help me focus on my priorites for the coming week. You choose the highest priority thing to do in seven different key areas of your life. My seven areas this week include:

1. Faith
2. Family
3. Relationships
4. Health and Fitness
5. Home Organization
6. Finances
7. Me Time

Faith:  This week I am commiting to spending my mornings with the Lord. I find myself so unfocused if I do it any other way. I'm also going to take some time to find a new devotional. Any suggestions?

Family: I'm commiting to giving Aubrey the best of me. It sometimes hard when life pulls me in every direction. This week I'm focusing on intentionally playing with her and "teaching" her. I have some baby activities that I found on Pinterest that I'd like to do with her. I'm pretty excited!

Relationships: I'm not connecting with a few friends and it's bothering me. Time to take some time this week to send them emails (those who live far away) and give others a call (those who are local).

Health and Fitness: I'm Zumba-ing it  up on Wednesday. I'm also commiting to go to my Weight Watchers meeting on Saturday. I missed this past week because I was too exhausted to go. I was pretty disapointed in myself as I love my meetings.

Home Organization: I have two closets in our room that need some major organization. Both closests are a bit of a "catch all" for things that just don't have a home. Time to find some homes, donate, or get rid of the junk.

Finances: I found a great resource to print out some envelope's a la Dave Ramsey style. I'm going to print them, put them together, and use them for our finances. Though Shane usually handles the finances, it will be nice to have a system in place for my spending money.

Me Time: Sunday night is my favorite night of television. First it's "Desperate Housewives" and then "Pan Am". So, I'm going to take some time to watch my shows and have a delicious treat of loaded nachos (tortilla torn apart, cheese, tomato, a little onion, avacado, lettuce, greek yogurt, and salsa....mmm!! And Points + are counted!).

So that's it for my week! What does your week look like?

I also wanted to share Aubrey's photos that were taken last Saturday for the promotional shoot for a local photography studio. We had a lot of fun. Aubrey is such a ham.

Here she is.  :)

P.S. I wanted to let you know that I'm going to be making some cosmetic changes to my blog so if things get a little wonky around here, you'll know why!

Sunday Seven

This week is going to be a pretty busy week for me. Tomorrow I'm helping to host a suprise birthday party. Tuesday we go to have our picture taken for a group shot of all of the babies born in 2011 at our midwife clinic. Wednesday will go on the list of being one of the biggest days of my life. I'm heading in for my immigration interview. It is the final step in becoming a Permenant Resident in Canada. Basically this interview determins if I'm accepted or denied status. It's a big deal and I'm incredibly nervous! I'd appreciate your prayers!

I definatly need this week's Sunday 7 to help me focus. And, I've already put some of it into practice. I hope you can take a few minutes this week to focus on your top seven areas of your life and zero in on what your priorites are this week.

Here are mine:

1. Faith:  Spend each morning with the Lord. I can't seem to function if I haven't. Invest in a journal and start writing out my prayers again.

2. Family:  I have some emails that I need to write to family members and I'd also like to print some photos of Aubrey to send to family as well. I also need to put together some birthday gifts for different family members and mail them too.

3. Relationships:  Put together a "Congrats On Your New House" basket for a friend who just purchased her first home. I wanted to do this last week but an unexpected spending freeze kept me from doing so.

4. Home Organization:  Aubrey is finally in her own room so it's freed up our bedroom to be a space for Shane and I. I'd like to finish the last bit of moving her into her own room and sort through our belongings. Time to find a home for everything!

5. Work:  If I'm approved for Permenant Residency, I will finally be able to work in Ontario. I've been dying to sell Scentsy so I may finally have a time frame for when I can begin. This week I want to listen to some more training videos and pull in my focus on starting my own business!

6. Health and Fitness:  I'm only a little over a pound away from reaching my 5% goal at Weight Watchers. I'm kicking it in high gear this week! Attending my second Zumba class on Wednesday. Attend my Weight Watchers meeting on Saturday.

7. Me Time:  I indulged in a nice, long, hot bath this evening. I got to read my new Weight Watchers magazine as well. I later watched my favorite tv shows - "Desperate Housewives" and "PanAm" while drinking a Retro Pepsi. That was definatly a treat! A perfect way to start off this busy week!

Here's to hoping you have a wonderful week!

The Sunday Seven

Hi Friends!

It's Sunday evening and in about half an hour I'm gearing up to watch "Desperate Housewives". I'm such a fan! I've been watching the show since the beginning and am sorry to see it go off the air after this season is up. It's already getting juicy! If you're a fan, tell me in the comments what you think so far. I'd love to know!

This has been a pretty good week. Aubrey cut two more teeth, Shane went back to work after a short layoff, and I found was able to cross a few things off of my to-do list. On Saturday I saw my first sign of snow. It has me thinking of all that needs done before Christmas comes. It will be here before you know it!

This weeks Sunday 7 has me again focusing on my upcoming week and determining my top priorities in seven key area's of my life. They are:

1. Faith
2. Family
3. Relationships
4. Work
5. Health and Fitness
6. Organization
7. Me Time

Your top 7 may look a little different than mine and that's a-ok. You determine your 7 priority areas. Feel free to create a Sunday 7 post of your own or write your top seven in the comments. I'd love to see what you are focusing on this week.

1. Faith: God has been doing a lot of great things in my heart and I find myself wanting to spend all kinds of time with him. This week I plan on reading and studying verses/sections of the Bible that have to do with "mothering". I'm anxious to hear what God has to say about this important area in my life.

2. Family: My family has decided to draw names for Christmas gifts and while the names have been drawn, I want to put together a questionnare of our favorites, likes, and Christmas wants for everyone to fill out.

3. Relationships: My Sunday School class is watching a video series called "Love and Respect". Our teacher challenged us to focus on "laughing" and "touching" our mate this week. That seems pretty easy so I'm also going to challenge myself to show more respect to Shane and tangible ways. I'll let you know how that goes!

4. Work: Work for me is doing things for our home. So this week I'm hoping to work on my Recipe Binder. I've got a lot of ideas and am anxious to put this thing together.

5. Health and Fitness: Track all of my WW Points! Dare to try a new walking trail in town.

6. Organization: Update our calendar! Make some appointments! This is a must!

7. Me Time: Since giving birth, I've had little time to read. It's a total luxury anymore. I snagged a few good books from the church library and I hope to have some time to pour over them this week.

Feel free to leave your Sunday 7....and here's to a great week! Now off to watch "Desperate Housewives"!

The Sunday Seven...On Monday

I missed The Sunday 7 yesterday so since this week has just begun, I'm going to post today. Yesterday we had the "Fall Kick-Off" at our church. Sunday School classes were started and for the first time, I am able to go to a class. I've usually been a teacher or there has been something that has prevented me from attending but yesterday I joined a class. We are watching a video series called "Love and Respect". It's about how husbands and wives can show respect and love to one another. So far it's been very interesting. I'm excited to go deeper in the class. Yesterday was also Aubrey's first time in the nursery. Not for lack of trying though! I have attempted to drop her off a few times but there was never a worker for the infant nursery. Which is incredibly strange because we have a large church. But as part of the Fall Kick-Off, they revamped the nursery program too. So in Aubrey went! She was so tuckerd out that when her daddy picked her up after church, she was fast asleep. The nursery was such a gift yesterday as I was finally able to enjoy an entire church service without taking a talking/crying/babbeling/loud baby out of the sanctuary. Praise God for nursery workers!

Most people can classify their 7 most important areas something like this:

Faith
Family
Relationships
Work
Health and Fitness
Finances
Me Time

You determine what your top 7 are in your life. Here are mine for this week.

1. Faith: God has been really challenging me to respect and serve my husband. Two different concepts that go hand-in-hand. Trying to live that out this week. Also to start every day digging in my Bible and praying.

2. Family: Do something as a family. We've all been going in different directions lately so this week I hope to just spend time together - Aubrey, Shane and I.

3. Relationships: A friend is having a really hard time and I'm going to do my best to meet some of her needs this week.

4. Organization: Begin to prepare for the upcoming Holidays. Canadian Thanksgiving is in two weeks and I want to be ready for that. Also to begin thinking about Christmas gifts and planning for traveling out of town.

5. Health and Fitness: Get in 4 walks this week. Attend me Weight Watcher meeting on Saturday.

6. Finances: Put together a budget for spending money. Time to save for some big purchases!

7. MeTime: Go to Starbucks for a nice drink. Enjoy the time alone.

What are your top 7 things that you will be doing this week? Feel free to leave them in the comments so we can all encourage one another!

The Sunday Seven

It's time for the Sunday Seven again! I first heard about this awesome concept at The Intentional Peace and just instantly fell inlove with the idea. You pick the seven most important areas of your life and then set a goal for each of those seven areas for you to accomplish for the next seven days. How focused and easy is that? I love it. Basically if my mind gets scattered for the week, I can focus on the top priorities of my life and make sure those things get accomplished. Love it!

My 7 categories this week are:

1. Faith
2. Family
3. Relationships
4. Home Organization
5. Health and Fitness
6. Down Time

Faith: Spend each morning with God reading my Bible and my Mother's Prayer Book. Start to intentionally pray for my husband and make it a real focus.

Family: We are still in Pennsylvania visiting my family and though we leave tomorrow I want to really focus on soaking up every minute I can with my family. The internet and satellite tv can be real traps for me - especially because we get only three tv channels at home! So I'm making it a focus to avoid these areas and have a blast with my family instead. Though we did stop to watch The Pioneer Woman's cooking show. :)

Relationships: Prepare a meal for a friend who just had a baby.

Home Organization: Begin to put together storyboards of what I want our renovated home/rooms to look like. Time to focus! (I'll post these when I finish them. I can't wait!)

Health and Fitness: This has been such a big focus in my life for the past few months. I'm changing my lifestyle and totally enjoying it. I'm focusing on walking a minimum of 4 times this week (minimum 40 minutes each walk). I'll also attend my Weight Watcher's meeting Saturday. I always look forward to my meeting. It's one of the highlights of my week!

Future Planning: We are getting Aubrey dedicated on October 2nd. I'm beginning to prepare now and will order her dress and begin to plan a celebration lunch.

Down Time: Take some time to read some of my new magazines! Such a luxury!

And a special thank-you to everyone who prayed for our trip and for Aubrey's heart. There were no signs of her murmur at her appointment. Praise God! We go back in four months for the final check and if they don't hear anything then we are discharged from their care. God is good! Our drive couldn't have been better as Aubrey slept the entire way - minus the hour we stopped for dinner. She even slept through stopping at the border and the border guard opening the van door to look at her!

Sunday, September 04, 2011

I'm excited to introduce this newest feature on my blog. It's called "The Sunday Seven". I read about this idea on the blog "The Intentional Peace" and really couldn't get it out of my mind. Allison describes it best so I'll share a few of her words but please check out her post for a complete description of what "The Sunday Seven" is all about. Way to go Allison! What a great concept!

Allison writes, "If we look at the ares of our life that need our attention and focus, we can usually find about 7.

Faith
Family
Relationships
Work
Health and Fitness
Finances
Me Time

"The Sunday Seven" are the 7 biggest "rocks" in your life; the 7 things or tasks that really need to happen in each area of your life each week. This is not a list of everything that needs to be done, but it is a list of the most important things in each section of your life. "

See what I mean? What an excellent idea! Today I'm going to share with you my Sunday Seven and each week, on Sunday, I'll share with you my next Sunday Seven. Please check out Allison's post for more on The Sunday Seven.
